Learning Cafés are opportunities for members to lead and participate in small-group discussions about a particular practice or issue related to educator preparation. Learning cafés are a means to extend conversations that begin at EdPrepLab events or to present the work of individual faculty and institutions. Learning Cafés are hosted by EdPrepLab and facilitated by members who are sharing their work.
World Cafés bring together an international group of educators, researchers, and policymakers to explore how teacher education can embrace student-centered learning supported by science of learning and development in ways that are appropriate for local contexts around the globe. Through EdPrepLab’s World Cafe series, participants from different nations share about promising practices and policies that enable SoLD-based teaching and learning.
