2024 Fall Forum

Revisiting SoLD: An Educator Preparation Framework for the Current Moment

On October 16, 2024, participants from 17 EdPrepLab institutions joined the 2024 Fall Forum via Zoom. This members-only virtual town hall brought together attendees from teacher and leader preparation programs to address pressing issues in education. Bank Street College of Education and the Learning Policy Institute shared resources, and three EdPrepLab seed grant recipients discussed their cross-institutional research projects, connecting the Science of Learning and Development (SoLD) in broader research and policy contexts. The forum provided a small group planning session and explored how SoLD principles can serve as a framework for reimagining education through innovative research, advocacy, and practice reform.
