Understanding Racial Trauma and Promoting Resiliency Video
This webinar resource by the California School-Based Health Alliance offers education on how to identify and describe racial trauma, recognize symptoms of racial trauma at individual and community levels, and foster healing and resiliency individually and with others. It also unpacks how racial trauma and cultural betrayal manifest in schools through its systems and policies. At a time when the student population is becoming more diverse while the teacher workforce is still predominantly White, understanding the racial trauma and cultural betrayal present in schools is increasingly relevant to promoting racial and educational equity.
