In this policy report and brief, the Center on Great Teachers and Leaders, CEEDAR Center, and the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education present the important role educator preparation programs can play when designing teacher registered apprenticeship programs that seek to increase the pipeline of teachers and make teaching more accessible, affordable, and effective. The brief highlights strategies and resources for those who seek to engage preparation programs as cocreators of teacher apprenticeship programs, and it provides an overview of exemplars from Tennessee, New York, Texas, Missouri, and Indiana. This resource also includes links to related research and to potential funding sources.
