Master of Education Secondary Education (Teacher Certification) Handbook
This handbook from the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College at Arizona State University informs readers of the admissions, course, and graduation requirements for their Master of Education in Secondary Education with Teacher certification program. The secondary education master’s degree is ideal for individuals who already have a bachelor's degree in any field and want to further their knowledge in education for grades 6–12. The degree includes internship and residency experiences in schools and learning environments. Candidates also take a range of elective courses and complete a final applied research project in which candidates have the opportunity to evaluate and identify an education challenge and design an intervention within the classroom. In addition to providing admissions criteria, the handbook gives guidance on financial aid, curriculum and graduation requirements, student support resources, policies and procedures, and student responsibility.
