The Learning Policy Institute and co-sponsors California Community College Early Childhood Educators (CCCECE), California County Superintendents, California Council on Teacher Education (CCTE), and Partnerships in Education, Articulation, and Collaboration in Higher Education (PEACH) hosted an interactive webinar that explored strategies to transform early childhood teacher preparation in California to support equitable access to high-quality early childhood educators across a range of settings. Through short presentations, small group discussions, and professional networking, presenters demonstrated how they are building from the opportunities that transitional kindergarten expansion and a new P-3 credential provide. The event helped participants begin identifying ways to align, articulate, and integrate work across sectors to support a highly prepared, growing early childhood teacher workforce in a way that amplifies the work they are already doing.
