This course created by members of the California Universal Design for Learning (UDL) is designed to introduce a research-based framework supporting a personalized approach to learning. This course examines the concept of UDL and its implications, providing a comprehensive overview of UDL. Developed based on a 2-day in-person workshop, this course offers diverse content formats, review exercises, and quizzes. Acknowledging the challenge and complexity of UDL implementation, the course is segmented into five sections, encouraging participants to progress at their own pace. This resource serves as a foundation for educators seeking to integrate UDL principles into their teaching practices.
