The UC Berkeley Principal Leadership Institute (PLI) introduction video offers a high-level review of the equity- and social justice-oriented program design and testimonials from alumni and staff. PLI relies on strong relationships with Bay Area school districts and maintains active communication with districts to facilitate field experiences, receive feedback on the program, and ensure a strong link between university coursework and urban school reality. PLI has three main areas of work: leadership preparation, leadership induction, and leadership connection.
