This hour long webinar from US Prep is part of a webinar series that highlights the increasing interest in yearlong teacher residencies as a pivotal strategy in addressing teacher shortages and enhancing teacher preparation. In this video, speakers address how teacher residencies, characterized by yearlong clinical experiences with effective mentor teachers, have proven successful in producing more diverse and long-term educators with significant impacts on student learning outcomes. Over 30 colleges of education, including a Texas-based coalition of 17 university preparation programs, have partnered to implement scaled and sustainable yearlong residencies.
