The Stanford Teacher Education Program (STEP) elementary handbook provides readers with an overview of the vision, program design, and entrance requirements for a leadership preparation program with a focus on deeper learning and equity. The STEP Elementary handbook also includes teaching performance expectations, graduation portfolio requirements, California standards for the teaching profession, a month-by-month teaching integration plan, quarterly candidate assessment forms, principles for selecting placement, clinical work agreement forms, and templates for lesson plans, among other effective program design and candidate assessment materials.
