Revolutionizing Education for All Learners: A Road Map to the Future

This report from the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (AACTE) engages thought leaders from various disciplines, including university deans, policy directors, and grant-making institutions, in discussing the possibility of an education revolution. Analyses of interviews with 13 education leaders uncovered four themes: (1) transformation of the education system is needed, (2) democratic principles must guide educational transformation, (3) structural inequities are tied to outdated attitudes and funding systems, and (4) a focus on racial equity for Black and Latina/o students is necessary.
