This diagnostic tool from the Alliance for Resource Equity is designed to assist school district leaders with identifying issues of equity within their local education institutions. The resource uses 10 diagnostic tools, or “dimensions to equity,” including school funding, teacher quality and diversity, school leadership quality and diversity, empowering and rigorous content, instructional time and attention, positive and inviting school climate, student supports and intervention, high-quality early learning, learning-ready facilities, and diverse classrooms and schools. After each dimension is explained, the tool provides a series of questions designed to help determine how successful the district has been in regard to each dimension.
