EdPrepLab network members from across the country have partnered to form inquiry groups—each composed of a cross- or intra-institutional team—focused on collaboratively exploring a topic related to deeper learning and equity. This brief captures protocols and processes employed by the University of California, Berkeley, Montclair State University, and Bank Street Graduate School of Education. Their inquiry group interrogates how to support effective collaboration in the design of their inquiry project proposal. The reflections coalesce best practices for a range of topics including, but not limited to: scheduling, facilitation, collaboration, scope of work, online meeting platforms, and fostering team investment. Moreover, this brief includes a conversation guide (see page 4) for brainstorming inquiry questions with your cross-institutional team.
