The Bank Street Graduate School of Education provides an overview of its partnership with the New York Network. The aim of the project is to provide support to districts to implement their strategic plans by using the evolving, research-based Districtwide Instructional Initiative (DII) framework as a guide. The four key areas of the framework are as follows: (1) leadership vision and commitment, (2) change management structures, (3) intentional adult learning experiences, and (4) student-focused and evidence-based decision-making. This resource provides an example of how educator preparation programs can strengthen their relationship with local school districts through collaborative projects.
