This 6-minute video from REL West features an interview with two youth facilitators from the California School-Based Health Alliance Youth Board who present ways for adults to provide youth-friendly student supports. The facilitators of the workshop share information on trauma, mental health, and resilience with educators and health care providers to help adults better understand student behaviors and needs. The young presenters offer ways that adults can better meet the mental health needs of students by listening to their voices and valuing their lived experiences.
