Making Sure Each Child Is Known

October 2017 | Edutopia

This Edutopia video shows a practice that a middle school principal in Nevada led to help teachers track and reflect on their relationships with students. Teachers were asked whether they knew students’ names, faces, academic status, and details about their personal lives. Following a teacher-student connection poster activity, teachers made an action plan to ensure that all students feel seen and valued.
