Learning to Teach: Observing and Reflecting
This video series from the Bank Street College of Education includes clips from a pre-k classroom and a follow-up discussion of the clips with Bank Street College of Education student teachers. The student teachers share their insights based on what they observe in the clips and from their experiences in the classroom. Videos provide an in-depth look at how novice teachers learn to observe children and engage in reflective practice. The series begins with an introduction followed by three parts that focus on classroom routines and transitions, dramatic play, and early childhood materials and environments.
