Interview Assessment Syllabus

This syllabus for Alverno College’s Interview Assessment requires students to be interviewed by a faculty member in order to assess the student’s understanding of the WI Educator Standards for Teacher Development and Licensure and the Alverno Education Abilities (AEA) as they move toward the professional level of fieldwork. To prepare for the interview, students are expected to choose two state standards and make connections between these standards and their learning. Students also present evidence of their implementation of the standards through artifacts like lesson plans, papers, and projects. Following the conclusion of the interview, the student prepares a written narrative articulating the connections made between both state and AEA standards.
