The Bank Street Graduate School of Education provides a snapshot of practice through the Descriptive Inquiry at Bank Street brief. Bank Street evaluated its programs and pedagogy through a schoolwide descriptive inquiry process initiated by Dean Cecelia Traugh. The inquiry process helped faculty reflect on their practice, improve program quality, and build organizational coherence. The lessons learned (e.g., benefits, challenges, and growth areas) from this process were captured in the brief.
