This document from The Leadership Academy describes a menu of eight culturally responsive leadership actions that leaders can take in any school context. These research--based, interdependent actions are: (1) Lead for equity and access; (2) Align mission, vision, and values; (3) Focus on instruction; (4) Facilitate adult learning and development; (5) Manage operations and resources; (6) Engage in personal learning and development; (7) Strategize change and continuous improvement; and (8) Cultivate community care and engagement.
