CARE Framework for Anti-Racist Education

This framework from the Center for Anti-Racist Education (CARE) seeks to provide coherence and clarity for k-12 educators who aspire to be anti-racist in their practice. The resource presents a set of five CARE principles (Humanity, Historical Truths, Critical Consciousness, Race and Racism, and Just Systems) and connects each principle to two components that can be applied to instructional practices. The CARE framework reading guide provides 12 questions to guide educators and leaders in their professional learning. This resource also includes research briefs, recorded webinars with discussion guides, sample curricular tools, and rubrics to help teachers reflect on curriculum.
