This set of videos by the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (AACTE) features information about two exemplary teacher preparation programs, selected for their ability to ensure all candidates are prepared to work with all students, including special education students. The first featured program is the Inclusive Early Childhood Education program at Bowling Green State University which enrolls approximately 900 students and offers dual certification in early childhood general and special education. The second featured program is the Master’s Degree with Dual Secondary Education Licensure program at Portland State University. This program features dual certification in both general and special education at the secondary level. The videos further expand upon the programs by discussing program efficacy and benefits, and sharing student and faculty interviews.
