This interactive web tool from FundEd aggregates and standardizes information regarding each state’s education funding laws. In most states, public education is funded based on a formula that calculates how much the state expects each school district to need for the year. This tool displays information related to the most common elements of state funding formulas on national maps and state pages, organized by categories. Using the navigation bar, viewers can see detailed state comparisons and downloadable reports. The intent of this site is to provide easy access to detailed policy descriptions and to enable clear state-to-state comparisons.
